Long island consultation center
Dedicated Service
We are dually licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).
We work with individuals who struggle with mental illness and/or substance use.
We are staffed with a multi-disciplinary team who are trained to help individuals with co-occurring disorders (i.e., struggling with both substance use and mental health).
“Our goal is to set high quality, evidence-based policies and practices that promote behavioral health recovery and resiliency.”
Mission
Our mission is to provide quality, comprehensive, age appropriate, and culturally responsive outpatient mental health and/or substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and supportive services to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or co-occurring disorders.
Commitment
We are committed to providing compassionate and affordable mental health and substance use services to anyone in the community who seeks assistance.
Our goal is to deliver seamless, integrated person-centered and recovery-oriented services, which promote resiliency through a comprehensive array of flexible programs that will enable individuals to live, work, learn, and fully participate in our society.
“Our commitment to delivering high-quality clinical services based on the latest innovations and research has made LICC one of the most respected clinic in the community.”
Meet the leadership team
The leadership team at Long Island Consultation Center plays a vital role in shaping the vision and day-to-day operations of our organization. With a focus on support, strategy, and service, our administrators work behind the scenes to ensure our clinicians and programs have the resources they need to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to our community.
Executive Director
“Seeking help can be challenging. Changing or improving an aspect of your life that brings you dissatisfaction is a big step. At LICC, we aim to ensure that you feel welcomed and supported by everyone, from our front desk and billing departments to our clinical teams. We do this to positively impact and assist each individual who takes the courageous step to seek help.”
Associate Director
“My favorite thing about sitting down across from another human being is the connection that can be fostered. The possibilities that can come from the connection between patients and compassionate health care workers are endless. Healthy Life Balance and consistent Mental Wellness is one of the most important components of everyday life. I am dedicated to empowering patients to lead a better life on their terms. I want to ensure that patient- centered care and optimal health and wellness are a privilege for all of the patients in our LICC family.”
Medical Director
“There are many reasons I chose to work in the field of mental health. Many of the individuals we serve are chronically ill and require professional care and support. They are often vulnerable and unable to help themselves without the guidance of trained staff. With over 25 years of experience in neurology and more than 20 years in psychiatry, I am able to provide education, support, and treatment to help stabilize their clinical conditions and improve their overall well-being.”
